• MELTING REALITY ART •
inspired by progressive rock, the history of visual art
and the endless possibilities of the blending tool
I melt reality
to dilute the past
while pondering
the deepest mysteries
of the gnocchi
• THE PROCESS •
I collect samples and fragments of solid reality,
carefully melt them down one by one,
layer and blend recollections old and new together
to fix the condensed matter in a new solid state —
a translucent compound of the past, present and future.
Memories dissolve much like metal in a furnace,
allowing for layers upon layers being set with excruciating detail
in the manner of delicate yet poignant visual lace work.
• THE MATERIALS •
